One Wrap Dress - Five Ways

wrap dress, how to wear a dress five ways, five ways to wear a dress, red dress, stan smith and dress, denim jacket, lace up flats, gladiator flats, fashion blogger, street style, summer look

Happy Sunday everyone!

The wrap dress is my ultimate wardrobe staple and I love how versatile and flattering it is.

I’ve teamed up with La Redoute to show you how to style this cute wrap dress in 5 different ways.

Head over to http://fashionfamily.laredoute.co.uk/five-ways-to-wear-summer-dresses/  for more ways to wear this summer dress.

Look 1 - Casual Look

When running errands around London I like to keep my outfit casual but chic and this wrap dress looks perfect with trainers and a simple denim jacket.

Look 2 – Office Wear

Especially during summer, work wear can be quite a challenge and this is where the wrap dress comes in very handy. I’ve teamed it up with a white blazer and wedge heels to give the dress a more cooperate feel.  Perfect for this warm weather we are currently having.

 Look 2 – Holiday Look

During summer I like to keep my outfit really simple and casual. I find less is more, that is why I decided to opt for these cool slider sandals, which I think, make for the perfect holiday look.

Look 3 – Dinner Date

By adding a black boyfriend blazer and pointy lace up flats, this wrap dress is easily transformed into the perfect dinner date outfit.  The whole look is totally chic and adds a touch of glamour!

Look 5 – Gladiator Sandals

I love mixing classic and trendy pieces and by adding these gladiator sandals, this outfit becomes an instant fashion update and makes it that little bit more exciting!

With festival season in full swing I'd like to introduce you to these amazing, limited edition glitter boots from Seven Boot Lane.

The other week I've met up with the lovely bloggers Julia and Erica at the Push PR office for a relaxed and fun shoot.

For the shoot I've paired them with a leather skirt and striped tee but they look just as cool with boyfriend jeans, adding that little bit extra.

Yesterday I've paired the boots with my new off-shoulder dress and I think this would make for the perfect festival look.

Beauty Favourites: June

what's inside my makeup bag, makeup, beauty favourites june, beauty blogger, beauty haul, makeup haul, benefit mascara, benefit they are real, benefit eyeliner, rmk, laura mercier, makeup review

June was a great month for beauty as I got to try so many new products and I'd like to share with you the ones who made the cut and into my makup bag - on another note, how is it already July!?

First up is RMK - I've always loved their cleansing balm and now I'm totally hooked on their beauty products. Their liquid foundation is perfect for summer - it's very light weight and gives your skin a natural and dewy complexion.

Second up is their concealer - I've hardly ever used any concealer as I've always felt they make my eye area look worse but this one hydrates whilst covering dark circles - just love it.

Next up is their mascara - Having naturally very straight and short lashes I always get a little excited when a mascara manages the impossible - long and curled lashes!

The Caudalie Beauty Elixier is an old favourite of mine and a bit of a hero product in my makeup bag, especially on hot days like today.

I've recently discovered German Makeup brand Zoeva and I know I'm super late to the party - Next to their amazing makeup their also do some really great makeup brushes. I love their blush brush and their concealer brush is perfect for blending.

Another brand I've been loving for a long time is Laura Mercier and I got really excited to try their new foundation - This Silk Creame Moisturizing Photo Edition Foundation leaves your skin luminous and fresh and offers medium coverage. Being a photo edition, this foundation is perfect for evenings.

This shampoo and conditioner from Maria Nila were love at first try. This brand offers a wide range of exclusive colour-protecting hair care and styling products. I'm using their silver shampoo for blonde hair and I love how glossy, soft and voluminous it leaves my hair. It is also perfect for refreshing your hair colour especially in between hair appointments.

Another old favourite of mine is OPI - I love their range of colours and great formula. My all time favorite colour for summer has to be baby pink shade and this Suzi Shops & Island Hops will look just perfect with a tan.

I still can't believe we are already in July and I'll be heading off to Italy at the end of the month. I really hope I can squeeze in some extra gym session and for some extra help I'm loving this Mio Shrink To Fit and Cellulite Brush for firmer skin.

Following an incredible launch event the other week, Benefit Cosmetics have launched their cult They're Real Mascara and Push Up Liner in new colours.

Their new shades are surprisingly wearable and especially the blue mascara is amazing during summer.

Their eye liners come in brown, purple, green and blue and I love them for their easy application.

Let me know what your current beauty favourites are and If you've tried any of these xx

Blakes Hotel / Matthew Williams High Tea

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all get to enjoy the lovely weather!

If you are still looking for the perfect spot to enjoy your afternoon tea al fresco I have just the right thing for you.

The Blakes Hotel has teamed up with British designer, Matthew Williams, who created their courtyard as a sumptuous celebration of the summer season (read more here).

We were sat in the bird cage which is decorated with the most beautiful and colourful pillows in true Matthew Williams style and the ceiling is covered with dried flowers - a real summer oasis.

One of the things I fell right in love with when arriving in the UK was the tradition of high tea and let me tell you, this is one of the best I've had.

The sandwiches were packed full of flavours and their scones and strawberry tarts were divine.

Next to their great tea menu they also offer an amazing range of Hendricks's cocktails.

I've worn one of my favourite summer dress and I believe every women should have at least one wrap dress in their wardrobe - they are so flattering and versatile.

I've already blogged about my love for wrap dresses in one of my first blog posts over here.

The Blakes Hotel / Matthew Williams summer oasis is available until the 14th of July - Book your high tea over here.
